The Magic of Charles
West Virginia's premier magical entertainer, Charles Watson, would like to announce the release of his new website www.themagicofcharles.com

/West Virginia News Articles/ - PARKERSBURG, WV, July 15, 2008 - WebProper.com, a Marietta web design company, has announced the launch of a new website for Parkersburg magician, Charles Watson, www.TheMagicOfCharles.com. The site features XHTML and CSS Web Standards technical design practices with an aesthetically pleasing layout that features Watson's magic.

"Image overlays and transparencies provide for a delightful depth of field behind clear and concise text that has been optimized for search engine performance" reported Phillip Ross, owner and operator of WebProper.com. Ross has been designing websites for almost ten years.

About Watson
Magic begins with a childhood obsession of fooling the friends and family, but
there are those who strive to succeed beyond their wildest dreams. Charles went
from backyard birthday party trickster to traveling all across the United States.
The start of his career began when he was offered a job with the traveling
circus. At the age of 15 he traveled to the Wild West to learn how to create and
develop an act, and then perform it everyday to hundreds of amazed patrons.
Each summer he continued to learn new and exciting circus stunts. During his
third and final year he was asked participate in the high wire act.
After the circus adventure it was time to get serious about sharing his magic
with everyone. He began to book solid year round for libraries, daycares,
corporate parties, grand openings, festivals and restaurants for organizations
such as WVU Hospitals Tamarack, North Market, Lakeview Resort, Northern
Library Network, Potesta and Associates, AC Express, Breakers Resort, and
many others.

Magic Workshops

Watson's magic workshops are built around the premise that learning is fun and, with a little practice, anyone can learn to be an Amazing Magician! Each workshop runs one hour in length. Workshops are appropriate for children ages 5-12 years old. Each workshop can accommodate a maximum of 25 children. The workshop begins with the magician showing the class a magic trick and giving the children a chance to guess how it was done. (They love that part!) Once the secret is revealed, the magician will go over the mechanics of the tricks with the children, emphasizing magic words to use, gestures and stage presence.

The class is very interactive and hands-on, and the children are encouraged to explore their innate creativity.

In 2007 Charles teamed up with Northern Library Network and performed at libraries all across West Virginia
